Erika Wachter is a multi-talented reporter
and producer with experience in sports and news.
Erika currently works for MSG Networks as the host on the New Jersey Devils broadcast. She anchors all pre-game, intermission and post-game shows; providing in-depth, informative and fun coverage of the organization.
Prior to joining the MSG team, Erika worked for 2+ years as sports reporter and host for FOX 5 New York.
She is multi-skilled in the work place,
having worked in various capacities of television production.
Erika has a knack for finding human interest stories,
and building relationships. Her constant interaction with both fans and players alike allows her personality and passion to shine thru the camera!

Erika attributes her success to her education at the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Communications
at Syracuse University. She graduated Summa cum laude, with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a double minor in Marketing Management and Psychology.
Erika was also a Division 1 Varsity Field Hockey player
at SU for her entire undergraduate career.
Her experience at the collegiate level gives her a competitive advantage in covering athletics today.
Upon graduating at the top of her class, Erika headed to ESPN, where she was a production assistant on various shows. After a year in Bristol, Erika took her first job in front of the camera at WTNH-TV and its hyper-local website, SportzEdge.com.
From 2014-2015, Erika served as the sports reporter for
The University of Connecticut Athletics Department.
Most recently, Erika was a freelance sports reporter and host. She has worked with a variety of clients including:
CPTV Sports, COX Sports, NESN, Verizon FiOS1 Sports, Birdseye Sports, and MiLB's Connecticut Tigers.
